Acutely Flexed Uterus During HSG

Radiograph of a hysterosalpingogram revealing significant flexion of the uterine cervix (such that top of the uterus is actually facing inferiorly toward the patient’s toes), distension of the cervix with entry of the radioopaque dye into the cervical crypts (fern like pattern below the lower uterine segment, which a normal finding), a marker (L = left side) demonstrating the proper orientation of the film, and bilateral tubal patency.
